Listen as a Manatee Master storyteller reads from a selection of colorful books sharing stories about various aquatic species that live in the Lake Worth Lagoon and the waters beyond. Then, play with giant puzzles and receive a free popsicle voucher that can be redeemed at the on-site gift shop (limit to one per child ages 5 and under, for a Hershey's Ice Pop).
Children, ages 2 and above accompanied by guardians, are welcome. Temporary location during the summer and fall is indoors in the Classroom downstairs. To find the Classroom location, after you come through the main entrance, walk all the way to the back of the building to the exit doors that lead to the observation decks. Look left and you will see the door to the Classroom.
Time: 9:30 – 10 a.m.
Registration: Opens 45 days in advance of each event and is requested for planning purposes.
Location: TEMPORARY LOCATION IS INDOORS – inside the classroom by the main exhibit floor through a door
Cost: Free - Registration is requested for participating children for planning purposes.
Additional Details: Manatee Lagoon requires that parents stay on site during the program. Limited seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
